Why must it end that way!?!

I have several shows throughout the week that i watch on a regular basis such as Gossip Girl, Biggest Loser, Grey's Anatomy and one of my new favorites Mercy. I seriously am parked in front of the TV if one of my shows is on, unless i'm working in which case I watch it online the next day! Why is it that almost every single week the ending of the show leaves you hanging? Why do they have to do that to us!? I mean if I like a show i'm going to watch it the following week regardless of how it ended, but when they end the show and leave you hanging it just really upsets me! Seriously why make us wonder for an entire week about what is going to happen!?!?! Am I the only one that feels this way? lol
